Silver Birch Resort is conveniently located just 20km from Rovaniemi city centre in Finnish Lapland, with easy road access. Most groups will arrive via Rovaniemi Airport (RVN) - the primary Lapland gateway - just 10km from town. Transfers take approximately 30 minutes from RVN or 25 minutes from Rovaniemi city.

Silver Birch Resort features five exclusive lake-view cabins that offer a serene Arctic retreat set within five hectares of wilderness. Each spacious cabin can accommodate up to four guests, featuring a double bed and a sofa bed, hob and kettle. Their stylish, family-friendly restaurant seats up to 40 guests who can enjoy delicious locally sourced cuisine.

Who

Kristiina Nuorivaara is a seasoned professional with deep roots in Lapland. A certified wilderness and nature guide, she previously ran a nature-based tour service before joining a luxury tourism company in Rovaniemi, where she held key roles in guest services, program development and sales. Now the Sales Manager at Silver Birch Resort, Kristiina is committed to offering authentic, high-quality experiences to visitors, aiming to share the unique magic of Lapland.

Silver Birch Resort opened in February 2025 as a new project by Wild About Lapland, reflecting the company’s commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism. As a certified responsible tour operator, Wild About Lapland actively supports the local community and fosters new opportunities to grow tourism in Lapland - goals that are reflected in the opening of Silver Birch Resort.
